A question we get asked a lot is “how often should I be posting to FanSpark?” As an athlete, you already have a ton on your plate, from training, to competitions, to your education - plus, you’re working to build a brand online.

So how much content are your subscribers expecting?

Different athletes have different relationships with their fans, but a good rule of thumb is to post subscription content at least twice a week.

Not everything needs to be hyper polished and edited - a lot of your fans are just as interested in your personal updates as they are your highlights. People connect with people, and the more of your personality you show, the better. That can come through with a super edited DITL post, or a simple and personal update just for your fans.

That’s why we make it easy for you to post authentic content with just a few clicks, and why we put the new content button directly in the center of the menu.

Content creation is easy to overthink, and you’re not a production company. So don’t wait to post until it’s perfect. Grab your phone, hit the new post button, and put something in front of your biggest fans. It can be short and imperfect - sometimes imperfection is what people connect to most, because it’s genuine, unique, and you.
