We’re building a platform where every athlete, in every sport, no matter how big or small, can have their own subscription content channel to connect directly with their fans.
Why We Built FanSpark
FanSpark was founded in 2024 because as sports fans we saw some big problems in the modern sports world.
Athletes with huge fanbases were competing on global stages and in front of sellout crowds, but still needed second or third jobs just to pay their bills. Meanwhile, social media algorithms and traditional platforms originally built to connect people were actually creating new barriers between athletes and fans, and reducing the conversation around sports to only the most popular sports, teams, schools, and players.
It doesn’t need to be this way. Athletes and sports fans deserve a better platform, purpose-built for the sports community and the fan experience.
We deserve a platform that replicates the feeling of meeting your favorite athlete, or signing your first autograph for a fan. A platform where all sports and all athletes have equal treatment and visibility, so every athlete has the chance to build their brand, their business, and their fanbase. A platform where fans can discover new sports and new athletes they never knew they loved, and support them along the entirety of their college, amateur and professional careers.
We built FanSpark to be that platform.
